Backpackers Christmas Party 2009

All focus is currently on the BIG Christmas poolside party that is being held at Billy’s Beach House this Sunday evening (20th), the party will be HUGE with backpackers arriving from throughout Australia to be part of it. The Party is open to backpackers only and we will be bursting from the seams with and expected crowd of 700 backpackers attending.

This is something we put on every year for the backpackers and it is free to attend. A lot of the local tour operators pitch in and help us out with giveaways on the night.

Something we will be doing this year is crowning a King and Queen Backpacker for 2009 - this is something we will run on the night and the winners will be given free tickets to a theme park the following day followed by a meal for the two of them at Billy’s Beach House the following day - we are expecting 2 prominent national backpacker magazines to be in attendance covering the night. There will be DJs and bands on the night and the place is sure to be jumping. We will be filming the event and will also have photographers snapping away all night.
