Last Man Stands World Championships

Last Man Stands International will be hosting the inaugural World Championships on the Gold Coast. The new fast fun format is bringing people back to the sport. Last Man Stands is a variation on the new outdoor Twenty20 Cricket format - it's fast exciting and gets all players involved with over 12,000 players playing in five countries. It is quicker than the professional game - played within a two hour time period. There are eight players to a team. Incorporated are fun "quirky" rules such as double play rule (two wickets off one ball) and the signature "Last Man Stands Rule" (allowing the batsman to bat on his own but can only score two's or boundaries). Prize money for the World Champions is AUD10,000.00, with other various prizes for players of the tournament, batsman and bowler of the tournament too.
