Kirra Surfstock is presented by connecting Southern Gold Coast and in association with Kirra Surf has live music, surf movie festival, junior surf team events, beach walk and stand-up paddle race, the opening of the Surfworld Surf Museum, Miss Surfstock beauty quest, beach markets and dune care protection. The message is to create awareness of the beach and surf amenity, raise money for charity such as Surfrider Foundation, Kirra Surf Club and the Kirra Surfriders, celebrate the surfing culture and put some fun back in the Southern end of the Gold Coast Kirra Surfstock has a strong sense of community, it is a family friendly event, encourages sustainable living habits and increases visitation to the Southern Gold Coast, especially Kirra.
